Nailed again!
I'm getting the hang of this. Last night I cut down the distance from the Bushnell motion-detector game camera to the bird feeder to 20 feet, and the result was much better than that of the other night. Shortening the range by another five feet ought to yield a perfect photo. Incidentally, when the deer came back to finish the job of gently emptying the feeder, he discovered he had company. There was no skunk scent this morning, so perhaps the two species enjoy some kind of cease-fire agreement.
How do you know the deer and the skunk were not conspiring to piss you off somehow?
ReplyDeleteUp until I moved here to Ontonagon I never knew wildlife did such things. Even here in town I've seen deer eating apples. I feel very fortunate to be able to see these animals.
ReplyDeleteWilliam thinks most deer are nocturnal. He wants to know if you think so too.
ReplyDeleteTell William that deer indeed are out and about at night, but we've also seen them during the day, especially in the late evening and early morning hours.
